Started Over a Label We Could Not Read

Medicode began when our founder, a former compounding pharmacy technician, lined up nine serums on a kitchen counter and could not tell which one actually contained anything. Eight of them listed an active somewhere past the twentieth ingredient. One did not list a percentage at all.

So We Wrote the Code Differently

Every Medicode formula starts with a short list and a stated percentage. If an ingredient is not doing measurable work on texture, stability or feel, it does not make the cut. That discipline is why our decks look sparse next to competitors, and why our jars are opaque and our pumps are airless.

Small Range, On Purpose

We make six things. When a formula stops earning its place, we reformulate it or retire it rather than padding the shelf. Our lab and our customer service inbox are close enough that a recurring complaint reaches the bench within the week.
